Boring weekend
0 bird(s) chirped

It's Saturday night today...and I'm at home...

I'm so bored today and hence, I began popping up my pimples with needle... I squatted in front of mirror while I prick my red bumps on my face.. Since it was quite painful, so I took some time to do it... I began to have leg cramp after squatting for about 10mins...awww.... After that, I felt that my left knee and ankle is kind of wobbly..My old injury has came back... I have history of twisted ankle which affects my knee as well few years back...Seems that my left leg haven't recovered fully after that incident.. I realised that I was walking awkwardly just to alleviate pain last time..And I think I'm used to walking awkwardly now.... Nvm, I just need a rest and my knee should be back to normal or 98% normal...

Hamsters are getting naughtier nowadays...And they just love to eat, sleep and play... They like to go out and wander around whenever I open their cage door...hahaa...

I had corn soup for dinner tonight...Taste heavenly...

I always think of why it's so common to see couples after married for few months, you will expect to see baby in their wife's tummy...why they get pregnant so early after getting married? why don't they enjoy their married life for few years of doing things that singles can't do such as romantic getaway in an island, jungle trekking, planning a new home, etc..?I wonder do they really like babies or it's just their responsibilities to make babies as part of their in law wishes?? Do they really know what to do when babies cry and wail? I always see babies cry and wail loudly in restaurant and parent will beat them up...Ahh....and I am irritated to see this situation.
In fact, I'm not against babies and pregnancy...Babies are cute and fun to play...However, it's a lifetime responsibility of taking care baby until they grow up...It takes alot of hardwork of nurturing a child to be smart, morally and good citizen..
Anyway, based on my opinion, I am not ready of taking care of babies now...hehe...

My clothes didn't dried well today due to gloomy weather...end up hanging my clothes in living room for fan-air dry....

Watched Dan In Real Life... Humorous... Enlightened that Americans are family oriented too eventhough it's an extended family with grandparents, uncles and aunties, cousins getting together and had fun playing games... How I wished that Asians family are extended family oriented as well...

Read Female magazine, and I find that advertisements pages are just half of their total 300 pages...

I'm so bored today... that's the reason why I posted such queer blog today...I guess I'm queer as well...To compliment myself, I would say I'm "unique" from the rest ...haha..me perasan...
Let's see how would I enjoy myself on Sunday (tomorrow)

I am not an Independent girl :(

How independent are you?

Between 11-20

You can’t really be described as being independently minded. While you do have your own points of view about many things, you are easily influenced. You are quite likely to change your opinions the moment someone else queries them. Make sure that you stick to your guns. Be faithful to your beliefs and don’t let anyone influence your thoughts.

A city girl in a metropolitan part 2

More on Tokyo trip.

Let me continue with Meiji Jingu shrine. Meiji Jingu is a Shinto shrine. Shinto is called Japan's ancient original religion and it is deeply rooted in the way of Japanese life. Shinto has no founder, no holy book and not even the concept of religious conversion but Shinto values for harmony with nature and virtues such "Magokoro(sincere heart)".

Interesting, isn't it?

A board that informs the Meiji Jingu period of adoption of westernisation in Japan and the barrels of wine offered by the celebrated wineries of Bourgouge in France.

Barrels of wine

More chinese wine on the other side.

Here are the wooden plates that written with prayers or wishes and being hooked under a hut...When the wind blows and rattle the plates, it means your prayers are blessed. However, each wooden plates cost at 500yen...That's expensive, man...Just like the HK shows, where ppl throw a packet of colourful prayers to be hung on the tree.

That's the shrine, a worship area. We are not allow to enter that shrine area. That's the nearest distance that I could take photo. Besides that, I'm only allowed to take photo from side view and not from center view. I wonder why?

This wooden corrugated plates in a offertory box is for worshippers to throw in money and pray by bowing and clapping hands twice.
ooo...That's interesting.. Fun learning about Japanese religion...

That's all about Meiji Jingu shrine..As we exiting the shrine, we still see some of goths again.

School girls offering free hug services..hehe..cute leh..

goths again.. weird people...Are they too free to wear like that and exhibit to everybody? I wonder what's their daily job?

That's all for a day trip in Tokyo. We went back to hotel in Yokohama by train... It was fun and enjoyable trip, though most of time is sightseeing...

The rest of the days was working, then dinner, then walking and shopping in nearby the hotel..Aih, I have spent too much money on shopping in this trip. I shouldn't have bought so many things and most things are being put aside now at home...

My plane back KL...It's made from Rolls Royce...ooo..another interesting fact...hehe...

I haven't posted photos on Japanese food... I didn't take photos of every meal because sometimes I forgot to bring camera along...Maybe I was too rushing to beat time..Time is short there as I'll be working till 5-6pm, and I only have few hours before the shops closing time.

I think some of you might have seen Japanese food on previous entry and in facebook....

It was a challenging experience of having a meal in restaurant. It was like a guessing game...Luckily, that most restaurant place replicas of food that they are serving with it's price tag. However, based from the replica, I always wonder what is that food...I was fine with that..When I enter restaurant, I will be greeted by the waitress in Japanese and she will ask a question..I guessed she was asking how many will be dining with me...I just show my index finger...and she directed me to a small table..haha, I guessed the right answer..However, the menu is all in Japanese, it only showed some pictures of food which I guessed it's the popular choice of most patron of the restaurant..Most of waiters and waitresses can't understand English, so I can't ask question about the food in the menu..
hmm, I just ordered whichever looks delicious and looks familiar to me...

Sushi..salmon, tuna..etc I'm not sure what other fish that I was having...haha..

A set of meal..The teapot contains soup and it has to be mixed with rice...

Cold Stone Ice Cream...Yummy ice cream...

That's all for Japan trip... I have nice memories of Japan although I was quite tired working and I have spent too much money there... It was just a short holiday trip and long working days there.. I wished that I have saved more money and go for a tour in Japan again. Just a holiday tour and not working trip.. I have listed few places that I plan to visit: Mount Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka, onsyen (hot spring bath), Tokyo Disneyland, Hokkaido, Kamakura...I like sightseeing tour and learning about their culture there...

A city girl in a metropolitan
0 bird(s) chirped

Been missing from blogging after came back to KL 2 weeks ago... Had some time to settle down with things and work. I had terrible headache once I touched down KLIA...Just recovered in last week. I have posted some pics on Facebook, but those are just random pics...

A dome...like a bird nest.. Saw some chairs and I wondered what's event going on...

The superb toilet in my hotel room...The similar toilet in other public places such as shopping complex and train station..

That's the water spray controller that attached to the toilet seat... Sophisicated leh... It even has seat warmer...U can warm your hips during winter..

Cute doggy!!! The Japanese seems to love their dogs as they dressed up their dogs and bring them out for a walk in the town... I have seen about 4-5 dogs walking together with their owners..

One of the shops along the road

At one of the road junction

One of the shops...I guess it's a restaurant...

Night view of the Ferris wheel...I heard it's the largest in Yokohama

View in the morning...Looks hazy in the morning

US Navy base

First time I see a curved escalator... I wonder how they build that...It's Mitsubishi technology..

Tomatoes...those are very sweet...yummy

Can't miss drinking green tea when I'm in Japan... And it's hot... Awesome technology... How they store hot tea in a plastic bottle?

Chef preparing sushi at sushi bar...And they are not wearing gloves...ahh...That's gross... Nevermind, I will only have sushi for once and last time in Japan, so I didn't care...

Pokemon centre in a shopping mall under my hotel..

Pachinko centre in the town... It's a slot machine that uses tiny balls as token...The centre is extremly noisy and crowded with people playing Pachinko.. It's also a gambling area too..

On Sunday, my colleague and I went to Imperial Palace in Tokyo... That's the entrance of Imperial Palace..

What a wonderful garden that the emperor has...

In the garden...nearby the lake

Then we proceed to Akihabara where all the electronic goods are sold at low price... It's like Low Yat buildings at every street...

At Harajuku, those people purposely dressed up in costume just for photographs from the tourists like me..They were just standing outside the Meiji Jingu shrine...

More "goth" people

More more goth ...

Entrance of Meiji Jingsu Shrine

I have stories of Meiji Jingsu Shrine... It's getting late night now.. I will continue about this post soon...
