Yippie, I had a short trip in Singapore last weekend, just to kill 3 birds with a stone for 2 days. hehe... Stone = Singapore trip, Birds = holiday + meet Lee Wah + job interview..It was marvellous trip although it was short (just 2 days only).
However, I had encountered few problems when I was there. One, I'm don't have direction sense. I don't know which part of Singapore when I was there. Two, my Maxis went dead because it didn't have auto roaming service. Cis, me and Lee Wah were not able to contact each other. Luckily I brought digi prepaid has auto roaming service but I was only able to sms to people..I was wondering why then.
After alighting from taxi, I presumed that I have reached Lee Wah's house at Block 131 as I saw Block 132 at that area. I frantically searched for Block 131 for about 40 mins. There was Block 132 to Block 139 at that apartment area. What lar... How can the taxi driver brought me to this place? Then, I saw another taxi driver and I asked him where Block 131. He searched his map and pointed it to me that Block 131 is just opposite the road. Aiyo..I was carrying a big bag and walking here and there while searching for her house and sweating from head to toe; looked like a refugee.
Anyway, I was welcomed by Lee Wah to stay at her room for a night. During evening, we had a short walk at Orchard Road, where most shopping malls are situated. There isn't much difference shopping malls in S'pore and KL. Just imagine Lot 10 area, with cleaner pathway, less dust, less Indon and Bangla ppl and plus more buses and cabs..Most cars on the road are Toyota's and Nissan's and they drive damn fast at town area...Even cabs and buses are travelling at high speed. Wah lau eh, I wondered what they were rushing for on Sunday. Besides that, no hawker stalls at sight.. :( I can't live without charkuey tiau, rojak, popiah, laksa, etc. I was informed by Lee Wah that most hawker food are located in Chinatown or in food court of the shopping mall.
Lee Wah brought me to a shop where they sells cute and amusing stuffs. I bought a few stuffs for decoration and chocolates for my family. Then, we headed for dinner at Shanghainese restaurant (I don't remember the name) where we has 'la mien' and 'siew long pau'. The mouth watering siew long pau tasted delicious. Yummy!!!
The next morning, Lee Wah cooked us western breakfast... Didn't know that Lee Wah is so independant that she can cook a meal... Hehe, me ar..am the opposite side. I'm the one who wait for ppl to serve for me...haha, I will starve if I don't learn to cook later on. Lee Wah is so kind enough who accompany me in Orchard Road, stay overnight at her room, and cooked me breakfast too... Thank you for your hospitality, Lee Wah. :)
Btw, I didn't managed to snap photos in Singapore because there wasn't any special things for me to snap. All were just high rise buildings and roads just like KL. Nothing much to shout about actually. Haha..
Oh yeah, I forgot about the interview.. The interview was ok but they were looking for people with more experience in project management.. If I am interested to join, I will have to join in the November..Who in the world so stupid to wait for them? Aih!!! I wondered whether they have read my CV before asking me to come for interview..I hate interviewers who never read CV's before inviting candidates to attend for an interview. It's actually wasting time of both parties. Inefficient and intolerant humans. Next time, if there is any interview invitation, I will definitely ask whether they have read my CV thoroughly before I decide to attend. I am really angry with those irresponsible humans.

I wondered whether anyone has experienced this when having family meal at home.
1. Our house
When I was staying in Ipoh with my parents, I usually have dinner with my family at home. Whenever my mum serves nice dish of seafood such as the big white pomphret, large prawns or any other seafood, she will annouce to everyone at the dinner table, "You know, I bought this (Select the options) fish/prawn/sotong from market at RM-----. Cheap / Expensive, Value buy/Not worth to buy.."
2. My ancestor house
During every Chinese festivals, be it CNY, Mooncake Festivals, etc...we will usually have a big feast there. My paternal grandmum usually cooks the meal but now she has gone to heaven, so my aunty takes over the duty. Same story.. If any seafood being served, sure she will inform us , "I woke up early this morning and went to the market to grab this (select the options) fish/prawns at RM----. Damn cheap / expensive, Value buy / Not worth buying..."
1. My aunty house
Currently I'm working in KL, and I have the opportunity to stay with my maternal grandparents and aunty. Usually I will have dinners at their house. Whenever my aunty cooks us a delicious seafood meals, same story starts agains... "At (select the options) pasar malam/makro, I bought this fish/prawns at RM ----. Hmm, at this size of the fish/prawns, it's quite cheap / expensive. Value buy / Not buying from there anymore.
Yeah, obviously seafood is expensive in cities unless we buy seafood from pantai remis, nibong tebal or klang, why bother fuss about it... Anyway, I usually just eat seafood as much as I could and let the adults continue discussing about the prices of seafood. haha...

Haha, I think that I'm crazy today doing nothing and blogging nonsense. Sot sot dei...I want to have some fun...
Whoa, I can't believe myself for 2 things :
whoa, I can't believed myself being so enthuasiatic and motivated at work for the past 2 weeks. I was working until very late night or early morning?? that many humans have gone to bed by that hour. However, I would think it's worth it because it's a hard to find opportunity to work on an interesting task. Few friends including Kelly and LooLOO MSN me, "wei, can online at home ar?" At that moment, I felt so unfortunate that I was still in the office while all my friends sitting comfortably at home doing things that they enjoy. cham one lar.
I spotted an brown office jacket/coat in Padini store last weekend. Moreover, the quality of material is good and it's stylish. I tried it on and it looks good on me. Should I buy or shouldn't I buy? With my current job, I don't need an office jacket, what's the purpose of buying it? Aiya, since it fits me and suits me, I paid RM149 for it. Quite expensive just for a jacket. At home, I wondered why I bought this jacket. I thought that it might be useful if I am going for interviews or a new seat with air cond blaring underneath.
By analysing the 2 things that I did, I felt that I have changed. I usually eager to go home early although work hasn't completed yet. During secondary school, each time I go out with my friends , I don't buy anything. hehe, many friends knew that.
P/s : While I was blogging this, I said the most stupidest thing on the phone. I missed a good opportunity...wat lar me...
